Prof Mary Fissell will deliver a talk on ‘The Lobster and the Mother-in-Law: Making Knowledge in 17th-Century London' at a symposium on The Visual Culture of Medicine & Its Objects, September 23, 2014, Riggs Library, Georgetown University.
Prof Nathaniel Comfort will be at the Wellcome Library in London on October 20, 2014 at 6.30pm to deliver the Fred Sanger Lecture, "Toward a Biography of DNA". The event is FREE but a ticket is needed, and they will become available here from 11.00am on Friday 26 September.
