Marta Hanson and Gianna Pomata to present at Globalizing Chinese Medicine Conference

On October 17, 2014, Profs Marta Hanson and Gianna Pomata will give a joint presentation at a conference held at Brown University on "Globalizing Chinese Medicine in the 17th Century: 'Translation' at Work". The title of their talk is "Translating the Maijue fufang 脈訣附方 (Pulse Rhymes with Appended Formulas) for a European audience: new light on the Specimen Medicinae Sinicae (1682)". Barron Lerner to give Medical Grand Rounds

Barron Lerner, MD, PhD, Professor of Medicine and Population Health, New York University School of Medicine, will give the Johns Hopkins Medical Grand Rounds at 8.00am on Friday September 12, 2014.
